In the period from 23 to 27 May 2022, "Circular economy week" was held for the first time in the city of Jajce. This initiative was organized by the Center for Education and Socializing, and with the support of Balkan Forum and regional “LogEx” group.

Our actions ‘today’ have a great economic, societal and environmental impact ‘tomorrow’. It is our duty to be responsible for ourselves and future generations and to live more sustainably. We should be adaptable to transformations from linear to circular approaches as the already established way of life and daily routine is posing severe consequences around us. It is an unavoidable fact that transformation is needed!

For the first time in the Western Balkans, the Circular Economy Week was organized by LogEx Community - an initiative of The Balkan Forum, a joint partnership between 8 universities, civil society, and business actors from all Western Balkan countries.

17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the most appropriate plan to build a better world for our people and planet by 2030. Adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, the SDGs are a call for action by all countries – poor, rich, and on average incomes – to promote prosperity by protecting the environment.
